The Upper Caragh River lies in southern Ireland's mountainous interior, surrounded by the world famous
"Ring of Kerry". Both the town of Killarney and the Kerry County Airport are just under a 45 minute drive
away. The drive from Glencar, which offers several hotels on the riverside, to the cities of Shannon or
Cork takes about two and a half hours.
