Opposites attract
The Ormarsá and the Deildará rivers both flow in the
lonely wilds of northern Iceland, a three hour drive
from Akureyri. Their many attractions include truly optimal conditions
for fly fishing.
Although the two river systems flow within walking distance of each other,
they are completely different.
While the Ormarsá crosses fields of lava stone and flows
through an impressing gorge, the Deildará
meanders its way through a meadow-like landscape of soft moss.
