The Ormarsá und Deildará
are a three hour drive from Iceland's northern city of Akureyri.
The two rivers
flow into the open ocean near the lighthouse of Raufarhöfn,
Iceland's northernmost village, just three kilo-
meters below the Arctic Circle.
The region around our salmon rivers offers more than just fishing. Besides
hiking and riding there are
several attractions like Asbyrgi or whale-watching, which can be easily
reached by car or the public
bus service .
